Adding a signaling group for direct SIP integration
Procedure
On the SAT command prompt, type add signaling-groupn, where n is the signaling group used for SIP.
On Page 1 in the Group Type field, change the type to SIP.
In the Transport Method field, type either tls or tcp as the transport method.
In the Near-end Node Name field, type procr.
In the Far-end Node Name field, type msgserver.
In the Far-end Listen Port field, type a value that is different from the value entered in the Near-end Listen Port field. You can use 5060/6060 (near-end listen port/far-end listen port) as the port numbers for TCP transport type and 5061/6061 (near-end listen port/far-end listen port) as the port numbers for TLS transport type.
In the Far-end Network Region field, type 1.
In the Far-end Domain field, type the SIP domain name.
Note
Ensure that you enter the same values on the Adding signaling group form and the Switch Link Admin Web page of the Communication Manager Messaging Web interface.
